In registering for the 2025 Internal Medicine Review, I hereby agree to the following:

  • I will pay all required fees at time of registration, understanding that I will not receive confirmation of registration without full payment.
  • I will not share my unique login info with another individual. I acknowledge that the IMR will disable any accounts found to be in violation of this policy, as tracked by IP address usage and evidence multiple simultaneous sign-ons.
  • I consent to allow the course administrators to contact me to provide course specific information including but not limited to: updated timetables, website passwords to access online content, evaluations of the course content.
  • Refunds will be accepted up to November 15th, 2024 (minus a $100 administration fee).

Release of Liability

In signing below, I acknowledge that the Internal Medicine Review does not guarantee that enrolment or participation in the virtual Internal Medicine Review course Nov. 29 – Dec. 1, 2024 and its online content (available on internalmedicinereview.ca until June 1, 2025) will ensure that I successfully complete my medical training and/or pass my medical examinations. “Examinations” include but are not limited to: the Medical College of Canada Qualifying Examinations I and II, the Royal College of Canada Examinations in Internal Medicine or its subspecialties, the American Board of Internal Medicine examinations, the United States Medical Licensing Examinations.

I agree in signing below that I will not hold the Internal Medicine Review, its Owner, Employees, Sponsors, Speakers or other partners liable in the event of my failure to complete my residency training or pass examinations as described above. In signing below I hereby release and discharge the Internal Medicine Review, its Owner, Employees, Sponsors, Speakers and other partners from any and all claims, demands and causes of action arising out of or in connection to my failure to complete my medical training or failure to pass any medical examinations.

Image Consent and Release (General)

Parts of the Internal Medicine Review course may be video recorded to allow review of content via its website. In signing below I consent that my typed questions during the speaker sessions may be recorded and available on the course website. Additionally, any still images and/or video recordings I voluntarily post may be used for future marketing, media relations, fundraising and social media on behalf of the Internal Medicine Review. In signing below I hereby release and discharge the Internal Medicine Review, its Owner, Employees, Speakers and other partners from any and all claims, demands and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the recording or use of the Images, including without limitation any and all claims for libel, invasion of privacy or right of publicity, or any other right arising out of or relating to the recording or use of the Images.

Disclosure of Information

The Internal Medicine Review will not release personal data including participant names, contact information or programs of study to third parties without explicit consent of the participant in the Review.

Internal Medicine Review Content

The Internal Medicine Review course and website contains material which is owned and independently produced by the Internal Medicine Review. This material includes, but is not limited to, the course content, online written content, online videos, web design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction or resale is prohibited.

Unauthorized use or reproduction of the course material or website beyond use for personal study may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.
