  2. »self study modules and tests

Based upon feedback from previous IMR Respondents we recommend reviewing the following self study modules

Review before your WRITTEN Exam:

  • Clinical Epidemiology
  • PFT Primer
  • ECG Self Test – these questions mirror the style on the written exam. You won’t get a question that says “what rhythm is this?”. You’ll instead get questions asking about management of a patient with above ECG finding.

Review before your ORAL Exam:

  • Cardio Physical Exam Tips – review of the cardiac physical exam with heart sounds and murmurs! (NEW in 2025)
  • Quality Improvement Primer (high yield for oral scenarios, not for written exam)
  • Diagnostic Imaging (images typically do not feature on written exam but basic plain film and CT head come up to interpret during oral scenarios). Note the quality of X-rays on the oral exam mirror the quality on our self-test – unable to zoom, often no previous to compare to!
